Fitting
The fitter acts as a facilitator, moving the rider through a series of positions, and using feedback from the rider to select the ideal position. In particular, the fitter will spend a considerable amount of time establishing the proper cockpit length and hip angle. All these measurements and adjustments help ensure that the rider is comfortable and injury free as well as efficient and fast.
The perfect fit is comfortable!

Cleat/Saddle Fit
$50 - Approx. 30 min.
A Cleat Fitting assures proper fore/aft and rotational placement of cleats on cycling shoes. It is recommended with the purchase of new cycling shoes or pedals. The fitting takes place with your bicycle in a stationary trainer where you will be instructed on how to use your pedals, with plenty of practice getting in and out. West Point's fitting methodology begins with proper cycling shoe and foot bed selection. Neutral cleat positioning will be established and is based on your individual foot structure and any anatomical needs you may posses. It then progresses up the leg. Some areas of focus will be ankle articulation (pedaling dynamics), knee flexion and pelvic angle.
A saddle fit includes full saddle evaluation of proper sit bone (ischial tuberosity) positioning, along with leg length and fore/aft integration with pedal system. In a saddle fit, the fitter works with the rider to establish proper saddle height and sitting position as well as evaluates saddle selection with the rider.
Performance Fit
$150 - Approx 1 to 1.5 Hours
A Performance Fit is for the new or experienced cyclist interested in investing in a fitting for their pre-existing bicycle. This level of service begins with a comprehensive interview and then progresses to a dynamic Ňon the bikeÓ fitting process. At this point, we will assess the key aspects of your current cycling position. If necessary, the Performance Fitting allows us to make pertinent changes to your bicycle by adjusting your pre-existing components. If deemed essential, we will collaboratively select new components in an effort to establish your most desirable cycling position within the boundaries of your existing frame, enabling you to ride faster, longer, injury free and in greater comfort.
Triathlon Fitting
$150 - Approx 1 to 1.5 Hours
Our Fit Technicians will work with you to establish the most efficient and aerodynamic riding position based on your flexibility and the type of events you ride. Triathlon bike geometry is specific to the forward aero position and includes geometry changes, like shorter head tubes and chain stays, to accommodate the lower body position used in an aero position while helping to keep weight distribution even and the bike stable and handling properly. If you become a serious triathlete, you owe it to yourself to own a triathlon specific bike for races and a road bike that you can do much of your training on.
Serotta Size Cycle Fitting
$250 - Approx. 1.5+ Hours

The Size Cycle is a fully adjustable stationary bicycle designed to give our Fit Technicians a blank slate for determining your proper fit. Crank length, seat height, seat angle, top tube length, stem height, and stem length can all be adjusted independently. The Size Cycle gives us endless options to adjust your position for comfort and performance. The end result is three points in space - pedals, saddle, and handlebars - that represent your ideal position. The Size Cycle is primarily used during the purchase of a custom bicycle, and is included at no charge with the purchase of a custom frame or bicycle.
The Fitting Process:
- Comprehensive cycling related interview
- Analysis of your current cycling position
- Fundamental positioning based on you as an individual will be established: saddle height (leg extension) is determined by an objective process involving, but not limited to, measuring knee flexion using anatomical markers while taking into account your individual pedaling technique; an objectively neutral horizontal saddle position will be established; a proper hip angle, torso angle and correct shoulder/elbow/hand alignment will be achieved through appropriate handlebar positioning and/or aero bar positioning.
- Your pre-existing bicycle's positioning coordinates and post-fit positioning coordinates will be maintained for future reference.
- You will be assisted by a professional, certified and career oriented Bicycle Fitter who is also an active cyclist
