Behind the product The EQUIPE R S11 is the spiritual successor to our classic NeoPro model, featuring technology from the premium RS SCHTRADIVARI Bib Shorts S11 in a simpler construction. That shared technology includes raw-cut cuffs, a minimal silicone grip, and the lightweight, compressive Type.911 textile. The key differences between the RS and the R are in the EQUIPE R S11 insert and the bib strap construction, both of which are simplified for pure racing utility. Technology overview The finer details FEATURED FABRICSType.911 is a warp-knit textile with a silky-smooth, abrasion-resistant texture that provides stabilizing compression in a deeper, fuller black than the previous model – even while stretched. It's also hydrophobic and dries quickly, preventing weight gained through lingering moisture, and is equipped with odorControl properties and UPF 50+ protection. CONSTRUCTION/FIT Our racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback and proven with WorldTour results. For the latest generation of Racing Series Spring Fall Bib Tights, we kept the focus on compressive support, breathability, and insulation that won’t cause overheating during full-gas efforts. The body textile is the same ultrasoft, breathable thermal textile as the previous generation, but we updated the construction with a light softshell panel at the crotch. It doesn’t trap excess heat, but it does protect the core from wind, road spray, and precipitation. The new antimicrobial insert features the same free-floating design and airflow-promoting technologies as the SCHTRADIVARI summer bib shorts, but for these bib tights, the insert is protected behind the breathable, windproof softshell panel. The result is high breathability without cold airflow – dry warmth, critical for riding in cool conditions.

Bibs aren't for everyone, but their absence compounds the difficulty of dialing the perfect ride-tuned fit. The bib-free Zero-Pressure waist embodies our C2 AEPD click-fit ethos with a secure hold on the sides and back, and a panel insert on the front stretches to accommodate aggressive positioning on the bike and deep breathing during hard efforts. GTO marks the pinnacle of the Total Comfort MILLE GT line - spiritual successor to the iconic CENTO and Campionissimo Bib Shorts. It features the plushest, most responsive and breathable ASSOS insert to date, wrapped in our new frictionless, wrinkle-free paneling. The GTO has two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (+3cm vs standard). BEHIND THE PRODUCT With large-muscle support, friction, and excessive pressure remaining critical issues on long-duration rides, GTO destroys conventional bib short construction formulas. We reversed stitch lines and radically reshaped the insert to eliminate friction and genital pressure, while providing matchless muscle support with tapered, wrinkle-free leg panels that mirror your personal physique.

The absence of bib straps compounds the difficulty of dialing the perfect ride-tuned fit. To address that, we reimagined the waistband with a stabilizing elastic layer that anchors the fit and an additional top band of mesh that extends coverage, independent of the elastic band, for comfort, moisture management, and to eliminate gaps between shorts and jersey while in the saddle. The updated insert features increased ventilation, a reduced footprint, and a new Odor Control Top Sheet Tex in Sugar Blue.

The waist incorporates a lighter textile with more body-wrapping elasticity, adding a supportive fit without restriction across all riding positions. The new insert features two layers of shock-absorbing foam, with targeted support under the ischial bones. Two additional cut-ins reduce bulk at the front of the insert, letting it conform to the body throughout the pedal stroke without folding or impediment. The innovative bisiClick system uses two magnetic closures to facilitate long-distance rides with convenient bib strap release.
