West Point Cycles have been supporting the biking community around Vancouver and Langley since 1930.
We want to share some basic bike skills with you to allow you to get the most out of your bike. Find tips and techniques on a variety of topics including how to fix a flat, and basic bike maintenance.

West Point Cycles is British Columbia's oldest bicycle retailer and we are proud to be “Your Neighborhood Bike Store”. Our staff enjoy sharing knowledge and with that help you to ride your bike more and get the most from it!
The Clinics
LEARN HOW TO FIX A FLAT TIRE
Learn the basics in how to fix a flat tire.
BIKE MAINTENANCE LEVEL 1 BASIC
Learn the key skills to keep your bike functioning to it's optimum performance
What's covered: cleaning the bike & lubrication, tire pressure, assessing worn parts, brake adjustments, safety check. *The goal of our Level 1 basic clinic is to give you a understanding of how your bike operates. Adjustments or hands on work maybe touched upon briefly but our future Level 2 clinics will allow us to focus on this.
BIKE MAINTENANCE LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE
Learn shift adjustments, replacing brake pads, and chain work.
BROMPTON LEVEL 1 FLAT FIX+
Includes removing rear wheel, & chain tensioner, flat fix best practices, reinstalling rear wheel & chain tensioner, adjusting internal hub gears, and bike cleaning best practices.
BROMPTON LEVEL 2 INSTALLATIONS & ADJUSTMENTS
Includes installing rear rack and fender, front fender, installing brake pads, and shift adjustments.
BROMPTON INFO SESSION
Includes test rides on c-line bikes in stock, demo of fold, information on Brompton aftermarket products and Q&A on service questions.
E-BIKES INFO SESSION
Includes basic care for any e-bike, and specific info on Bosch, Hyena, and TQ systems on bikes we carry.
CYCLING SAFETY
Focus on cycling safety for all ages, and cycles.
ADAPTIVE CYCLES MAINTENANCE LEVEL 1 BASIC
